Affiliate disclosure

SnowPrep is reader-supported. If you buy through links on this site, we may earn an affiliate commission at no cost to you.

How the site earns

SnowPrep is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate, SnowPrep earns from qualifying purchases. Every buy button on the site says which store it goes to, and every such link is marked sponsored.

What it does not change

Scores come from a fixed five-factor rubric applied to every machine, with the sources cited on its page. A machine sold through a link that pays us is scored exactly like one that is not, and the highest-scoring machine on a page is the one we would buy, not the one that pays most. No brand pays for placement, a badge, or copy.

Prices

Amazon prices are never shown on the site; a card carries the manufacturer's MSRP and the date it was checked. The price at checkout is the one that counts.
