Privacy policy

SnowPrep (snowprep.io) is an independent review site operated by the SnowPrep editors. This page explains what information the site handles when you visit, and what it does not.

What we collect

SnowPrep has no accounts, no sign-up forms, no newsletter and no comment system. We do not ask for your name, email address or any other personal details, and we do not sell or rent visitor data to anyone.

Server logs. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which records standard request data (IP address, browser type, pages requested, time of request) to serve the site and defend it against abuse, under Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Aggregate analytics. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to count page views and outbound clicks in aggregate. These tools do not build profiles of individual visitors, and we never see who you are.

The snow finder. The ZIP code you type is matched against a table inside the page; it is not sent anywhere.

Affiliate links and third-party cookies

Many product links go to Amazon through the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. When you click one, Amazon may set cookies on your device so that a purchase can be credited to this site. Those cookies belong to Amazon and are governed by amazon.com/privacy, not by us. See our affiliate disclosure for how this affects (and does not affect) our rankings.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13 and we knowingly collect no information from them.
